 Mama-Africa Foundation

A Canadian based NGO, Mama-Africa Foundation has been working with SHED Foundation since 2006. 

Their focus is to assist orphaned school children in the Shirati area.

• The first round of assistance was a successful ceremony on October 7, 2007 with teachers and about 60 targeted students from 3 local primary Shirati schools.  Students under this program were provided with 2 sets of a school uniforms each, including a trouser or skirt with a shirt or blouse, and a sweater.  Each student was also supplied with pencils, erasers, pens, notebooks, a mathematics kit (for older students), and a backpack.  All targeted students reside with their host families.
